This vintage porcelain bride and groom piece was probably from the 1920’s or 1930’s. The couple are hand painted and dressed in formal wedding attire. The bride's gown has an iridescent luster and is trimmed with pale green. She has a long flowing veil, and in her arm is a large bouquet of pink flowers. He’s dressed in a matte black tuxedo with a shiny black top hat in his hand. Across the back it is incised; Japan and on the bottom it is stamped; Made in Japan around a logo.
It measures about 3 ½” tall and is in good condition with no damage but there is some areas that the paint is worn off such as the back of the grooms head and some of the black on his hat and suit.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
