This small, vintage pocket knife was probably carried in a man’s vest or watch pocket. The case appears to be an early plastic such as Bakelite and it is in the shape of an old, low heel, laced shoe. It appears the three pins holding it together, as well as the inner casing, are made of brass. It has a single blade which is marked A.W. Wadsworth & Sons - Germany. The old catalog picture, ca 1920, is not included with the knife.
It measures almost 2” long in the closed position. The blade measures almost 1 ½” long so the total length when open is about 3 3/8”. It is in nice condition with light edge wear to the plastic and the blade. The blade appears to have sharpened minimally and is in good condition with minor discoloration.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
