This is a vintage rodent poison container called Gopher-Bane Poisoned Wheat from the Klinzmoth Chemical Corp. of New York. It is actually a paper label over cardboard “can” with metal top and bottom. Shown as being for the control of gophers and squirrels, the label has nice graphics with a large toothed rodent and a skull and crossed bones on the front. The tin has a pry off lid with what would appear to be the original price of 39c written in grease pencil.
The empty tin measures about 4 1/8” height and 2 5/8” in diameter. The label is in good condition with some light soiling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
