Reference Book - Collecting Brides’ Baskets & Other Glass Fancies

This old paperback reference book, Collecting Brides’ Baskets & Other Table Glass Fancies was written by John Mebane. It has 174 pages full of wonderful examples of decorative and ornate glass objects. The categories range from brides’ baskets, glass bells, epergnes and pickle castors to toothpick holders, rose bowls and glass baskets. There are a select few, color photographs but primarily the book is filled with detailed illustration and black and white photos, mostly from old catalogues. The categories have informative, written information and there are prices written into the text. The prices may not be current but this is still an excellent reference guide with regards to rarity and documentation when it comes to beautiful glassware.

It measures about 8 1/2” by 11” by 7/16” and is in basically good condition with minor wear. The inside is crisp & clean with minimal and the spine is tight. The cover has scuff and edge wear and light soiling.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
