Old, Warner Jones, Razor Blade Sharpener

This strange looking apparatus is a vintage sharpening device for safety razor blades. The patent date below The Warner Jones name is 5-11-20 St. Paul Minn.. It has its original instructions on how it was used to safely strop and hone used razor blades. According to the instruction sheet this; scientifically constructed instrument came with a "cushioned strop hone" which this one does not.

The nickel plating is in very nice condition showing minimal wear. The overall length is 5 1/2" with the widest portion measuring about 2 3/4".
