This is a simple, vintage razor in its original tin. The Dime Safety Razor is pictured on the front along with the name and logo and a patent date of Dec. 31, 1907. The razor was made by the International Safety Razor Co. of New York which is also on the lid along with the razor name and the logo. On the back side of the black and gold tin is the company guarantee. The tin was made by the American Can Company. Inside the tin is the original razor. It has a black painted wood handle and the original thin single edged blade which has The Dime Safety Razor logo on both sides. The blade slips off the handle to conveniently pack into the tin.
The razor measures about 3 3/8" long and is in nice condition. There is almost no wear to the paint and light rust pitting on the blade. The metallic gold and black tin measures about 3 3/16" tall and 1" in diameter and is in nice condition with light wear and tiny scratches.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
