Old, Goebel, Wine Glass with Porcelain Boy Stem

This pretty, gold enhanced wine glass with a figural porcelain stem is a vintage Goebel piece. The stem is a hand painted boy dressed in colorful attire. He has tan trousers, an orange vest, blue overcoat and a black hat. He reminds me of a Dickens character but is sometimes referred to as a Black Forest man for some reason. The crystal bowl of the glass is gold flashed with a wheel cut and etched grape and leaf design. On the bottom is the original foiled paper label that reads; Made in Western Germany.

It measures about 5 ¾” high and the bowl measures about 2 3/8” in diameter at the top. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
