Old, Celluloid, Toy Horse Figures

These are vintage celluloid animals that children use to play with. There were many different animals including farmyard and exotic animals. This is a pair of horses with nice but simple detailing and paint. One has darker markings than the other but otherwise they are very similar. One appears to have the USA, Viscaloid, V-C logo and the other, which is more difficult to make out, appears to have a tiny shield logo.

They both measure about 3 1/8” high and about 3 5/8” nose to tail and are in good condition with minimal wear and no splits. The darker one is slightly dented on the hind quarter. There are a few "blowholes" on both and crude seams which are from manufacturing.

Priced and sold as the pair.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
