Old, Steel Tape Measure -1-4 & 1/8 Scale - Construction Company Advertising

This is an unusual vintage tape measure because it is in eighth scale instead of inch increments. The 5 foot steel tape is in a metal housing with a plastic advertising panel on one side. It reads; Algene Construction - Al Tutt - Gene Gooseman with a drawing of a carpenter with his tools in the center. The tape is pulled out and pushed in manually.

The case measures about 1 7/8” by 13/16” by 3/8” thick. The tape is in good condition with minimal wear and no kinks or damage. The advertising side has some stains and discoloration but the rest of the housing is in very good condition.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
