This vintage oil can has an unusual configuration. Instead of the spout being mounted on the top of the dome it extends off the side. It appears to be made of heavy gauge tin with a zinc plating. The spout is long and the end of the spout is threaded with a little, knurled brass cap. Small oilers often came with household appliances or tools but this one may have had a specific use.
It measures about 1” tall and 2 1/8” in diameter and the spout extends about 3” from where it screws onto the base. It is in very nice condition with some discoloration and wear to the plating.
