This is a vintage tip tray advertising Adam Scheidt Brewing Company with a bottle of their Valley Forge Special Beer in the center. The edge of the tray is somewhat deeper than some trays so it could also have been used as a coaster, especially with the raised "star" in the center. At the top of the edge is the company name and the bottom portion reads; Norristown, Pa. - Philadelphia Branch with their address. On either side of the bottle it reads; Valley Forge Special - A Beer of Unsurpassed Quality, and at the bottom it reads; Bottled Only At The Brewery. Overall it is an attractive tray with good color and amazing detail on the bottle.
The main image is in very nice condition with good gloss and almost no wear. The deep edge is also very good also but there is paint missing from the top rim, some has been recent as it is shiny and other places were worn over the years. The painted black back has some thin white paint on it. It measures about 4" in diameter and 9/16" deep.
