Old, Zippo Lighter Fuel, Tin - 1960’s

This vintage tin originally contained Zippo Lighter Fuel. The lighter fluid was dispensed from the plastic spout on top that was advertised as the “New Child-Protective Spout”. The front and back have the same graphics and at the bottom of one side panel it reads; Try the Fan Test, with a picture of a fan blasting air onto the flame of a Zippo lighter. The original price was 35c and I believe it is from the 1960's.

This empty tin measures about 5 ½” high to the top of closed lid, 2 ¼” wide and 1 1/8” deep and is in nice condition with minor wear. One side of the tin seems a bit faded.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
