Old, Carter’s Ideal, Typewriter Ribbon Tin - Unusual Cardboard and Tin

This round tin is a vintage Ideal ribbon tin made by the Carter's Ink Company. The top of this empty tin is metal with the silhouette of a woman’s head in the center, it and “Carter’s Ideal” are raised against a painted, dark navy blue background. The bottom half of the box is cardboard with a paper label that has the company information and the ribbon type and color.

It measures about 2 3/8” in diameter by ¾” thick and is in fairly nice condition with generally normal use wear and a couple of large scratches on the top and sides. The paper also shows some wear.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
