1949 Theatre Program with Pig’n Whistle and Other Advertising

This old pamphlet is titled Theatre Programs and Calendar of Events “About Town“ and dated July 28, 1949 to August 3, 1949. It has listing for movies like Any Number Can Play with Clark Cable and The Stratton Story with James Stewart and June Allyson being played at theaters such as Orpheum, Pantages the Picfair. Plus there are numerous ads for places like the Pig’n Whistle, Chi-Chi, Pacific Electric and the Tanner Gray Line. About Town Amusement Guide was published by Louis H. Loew. It’s a great taste of nostalgia on one eight section folded sheet of paper.

Folded it measures about 2 3/8” by 6 1/4”. It is in very good condition with minimal wear.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
