Old, Black Memorabilia, Cream & Sugar Set - Aunt Jemima & Uncle Mose

Many black mammy items are called Aunt Jemima but few actually represent the character that was used to advertise Quaker Oats Company pancake mix. This brightly colored, yellow plastic set was one of the premiums offered by the company in the 1950’s. The handle on the covered sugar bowl is Aunt Jemima and the handle on the creamer is Uncle Mose. They were made by the F & F Mold & Die Works, Dayton, Ohio - Made In U.S.A., all stamped on the bottom of both pieces.

The figures measures about 2 3/8” tall with the bowls measuring about 3” in diameter excluding spout or handles. They are both in very good condition with minor wear and no cracks or damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
