This vintage, celluloid tape measure has a line drawing of two fashionable young women and reads; The Arkin Girls. They appear to be modeling their hairdos and on the reverse side it reads; Andrew Arkin and Leonard Arkin with a New York Address. There is a button in the center that is used to retract the tape and around it it reads; Made in Germany. The metal band between the two celluloid sides is stamped; Germany West Zone. The white cloth has inch increments on both sides and is marked; Made in Western Germany.
It measures about 1 7/16" in diameter and is in nice condition with almost no wear. The tape pulls out and retracts well and is in very good condition.
