This vintage kitchen gadget is called the Bun Burger Patty Maker. It is made of plastic and it looks like a hamburger. On the bottom it reads; Sunset Sales Corp. Hollywood Calif. U.S. Pat. Pend.. The box states that it is; Ideal for molding hamburger, sausage patties, codfish cakes, potato cakes, etc.. One side of the box shows a housewife frying up perfect hamburger patties while the reverse side of the box has a happy chef cooking his perfect burgers on the barbecue. One end flap has the instructions for use.
The 2 piece plastic Bun Burger measures about 4 ¼” in diameter at the base and about 1 ¾” high overall and is in very good condition with minimal wear and looks like it hasn't had much use. The box measures about 4 5/8” square by 2” and is in fair condition. The graphics are nice but one end flap is missing completely and overall the box has creases, small tears and edge wear. There is also an old Santa Claus Christmas label glued to one side.
