This is an older, used, paperback reference book written by Jerry Osborne and edited by Bruce Hamilton. It features the golden oldies music that was recorded on 45 records during the Golden Age of the 45 R.P.M., primarily 1950-1965, with every Popular and Rock Hit in the National Top 40 plus more than 12,000 additional listings. Categorized by artist name, it lists the label name and number and the title and the flip song with values for Good and Near Mint. It’s a walk down memory lane with group and song names from the past. It is also filled with black and white photos of recording artists, labels and other music memorabilia. It has 196 pages including the Record Collector‘s Directory and although out dated, it is still valuable as a general reference and rarity guide. This Second Impression, First Edition was published by O‘Sullivan Woodside Co. with a 1976 copyright date. The cover was drawn by the comic artist Don Newton.
It measures about 8 1/2” by 11” by 1/2” and is in fairly good, used condition. The pages are clean and crisp with minimal wear and the spine is good however it has notations and circled or underlined reference throughout, which I shown in the photos, which appear to all be in ink.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
