This vintage celluloid tape measure reads; The New England of Minneapolis which was apparently advertising the New England Furniture & Carpet Co. Minneapolis. On one side is a picture of the building with the address. It also reads; Your Credit is Good at The New England. On the other side it reads; The Maid of New England - Priscilla, with a picture of a Puritan looking woman. It was made by the Parisian Novelty Co. of Chicago.
It measures about 1 3/8" in diameter and is in nice condition. The celluloid is in good condition showing minor wear. The yellow cloth tape pulls out and retracts well but is in worn condition. The numbers and marks are worn off almost to the 2" mark.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
