This vintage oil can is made of heavy gauge tin that probably had a zinc plating. The lid & spout are still plated and there is evidence of the zinc on the bottom but none remains on the body. It is small and wouldn't have held a lot of oil. The spout lid screws on and seems to fit well. This type of oiler often came with small appliances or tools.
It measures about 2 ½” tall and the base is about 1 7/8" in diameter. As previously mentioned the zinc finish is pretty much worn from everywhere except the bottom and the lid.
