Old, Century of Progress Napkin Ring - Chicago 1933

This metal napkin ring was a souvenir of the 1933 Chicago Century of Progress. The band is nicely detailed with an embossed images with the exposition logo and 4 medallions representing sites from the Worlds Fair. It has the Golden Pavilion of Jehol, the Travel Building, Byrd’s Ship and Carillon Tower. The metal band is tabbed and soldered and appears to be made of brass which is silver plated. I find no maker’s name on it.

It measures about 1 ¼” wide by 1 5/8” in diameter with the small tail that extends and keeps it from rolling. It is in very nice condition with minor wear to the plating. The base metal shows mostly around the outer edges and a few of the raised detail areas.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
