This pretty little doll is an old Nancy Ann Storybook Doll. She is painted bisque with fixed legs and jointed arms. She has a sweet painted face and wavy auburn hair with a green ribbon in the back. She’s wearing what appears to be a taffeta dress with a green bodice and a yellow, flower pattered full skirt that has a ruffle matching the bodice. Under the dress is the original starched slip and pantaloons. She comes in a box with a label that reads; A November Lass to Cheer - 197. I do not know if this is the correct box for this doll or not. Her back is marked; Story Book Doll USA.
She measures about 6 5/8” tall and is in good condition with minimal wear except for the side of her left foot which has a large chip off of it. The box measures about 7 5/8” by 8 5/8” by 2 ½” deep. The lid has red polka dots and the bottom has blue. It is in fair condition with a tear to the paper on the lid and two corners torn. It has no inside liner.
