This vintage oil can is made of zinc with a base that is made heavy gauge tin. The inside collar of the reservoir, where the spout screws in, appears to be brass. The spout is made of tin and screws on snuggly. It has a nice shape that has subtle ridges around the tapering dome. This type of oiler was often used for small appliances, typewriters, fishing reels and such.
It measures about 2 ½” to the top of the spout and the base is almost 2 ¼” in diameter. It is in good condition with minor wear. The spout and the base have some minor discoloration.
