This is a simple but rich feeling ladies vintage hat. The long brown nap is contrasted by the ochre felt base. The label printed inside the crown appears to read; Couleurs du Sol. There is a label on the ribbon around the inside edge that reads; Littler - Seattle - Pebble Beach. There is also a ribbon with an interesting little figure made of a bead, rhinestones, thread and other trim pieces, he looks like a matador. It has combs on either side, attached to elastic that may have been added at a later time, for holding the hat on securely. I would assume this is from the 1940’s.
The inside opening measures about 6 1/4” across and 6 7/8” front to back or about 19 3/4” in circumference and about 3 1/2” high at the crown. It is in very good condition with minimal wear. Since I am not sure whether the two oval spots are part of the designed manufacturing or not, I am selling this as-is at a discounted price.
