This old mug was made by the S & V Company of Germany in the early 1900’s. It was originally sold as a shaving mug as well as part of a chocolate set. It has the elk motif on the front and back, done in orange tones on a tan and brown background. At the base of the stag deer is a branch of oak leaves and acorns. The applied handle has decorative detail. On the bottom is the impressed crown mark and a black stamp mark that reads; Made in Germany.
It measures about 3 1/4" tall and the bowl measures about 2 ½” inside diameter across the top. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage. .
