Old, Lefton, Porcelain Plaques with Quaint Scenes

This is a set of vintage Lefton ceramic wall hanging plaques. Each of the three has a decorative, hand painted country scene. One is of a wood, two story building with a large water wheel. Another has a covered bridge and the third has what looks like country cottages with a foot bridge in the foreground. All of them have a gold line painted around the outer, top edge. The back of each has the original foiled paper label that reads; Lefton’s Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Exclusives, Japan and each is stamped with the design number; 010. They all have a small porcelain tube attached to the back. Two of them have what appears to be the original plastic covered string running through the tube and one has a piece of wire instead. These would add charm to a den or bathroom.

The triangles measure about 6” by 8” by a little more than ½” thick. They are all in very nice condition with minimal wear no apparent damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
