Old, Interlox #106 Slide Out 72” Wood Rule

This is a vintage, Interlox Master Slide Rule. Instead of being a folding or zig-zag design, each of the 12, 8” segments slide on top of each other. The increments are in reddish brown on one side which is for Inside Measures and black on the opposite side for Outside Measure. The ends have brass fittings with a small locking device that has to be depressed in order for the segments to slide together. It was made by the Master Rule Mfg. Co. of New York, I believe prior to the 1940’s.

It measures 72” when fully extended and the rule is ½” wide. It measures 8” in its collapsed state by 2 ¼” thick. It is in good condition with light rub & scuff wear from opening and closing. The brass has some discoloration and has not been polished.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
