This vintage pottery vase has a modern style and beautiful glaze such as the art pottery that was being done by factories in West Germany like Bay and Scheurich in the 1950’s and 60’s. The shape is simple but the glaze is wonderful with multiple blues, hints of lavender, white streaks and gold fleck accents. The inside glaze is a pale greenish yellow and the top edge is trimmed with gold. The bottom appears to be marked 543-29 - W. Germany.
It measures about 3 1/8” in diameter at the widest portion and 2” in diameter at the top by 8 ½” and is in very good condition with minimal wear. There is one teeny nick out of the top rim as shown in the photo.
