Old, Eddie Cantor Cigars, Wooden Box

A wonderful image of the actor Eddie Cantor is on all four sides and the inside of the lid of this vintage wooden cigar box. The Eddie Cantor cigars were manufactured by W.H. Snyder & Sons of Windsor, Pennsylvania. The box originally held 50 of the "Quality Cigars". There is a tax stamp that goes from the top to the front side. At the bottom it reads; Act Of 192? - Series 103. The last number of the date and the first couple letters of Series are missing since the it was torn off when it was opened. The inside of the lid has an NRA sticker and a price sticker which reads; 5c Straight.

This unique cigar box measures about 8 3/4" by 5 3/4" by 2 1/2" and is in nice condition with some wear. There are some bubbles in the paper and some scratches on the top of the lid and some corner and edge wear. There are some scratches on the inside label and it looks like someone made a scribble on the left side with pencil that has mostly been erased.
