This is a striking pair of vintage, figural bookends. They look like a type of Spaniel, perhaps a Springer with the astute face and long wavy haired ears. They are made of a non magnet metal with a gold-tone or brass finish. They both appear to have their original felt bottoms. On the back of each, molded across the bottom edge is; PMC, which I believe is the old logo for the Philadelphia Manufacturing Co., 414B and a copyright symbol.
They measure about 5” high and the base measures about 2 ¾” by 3 1/6”. They are in very good condition with minimal wear.
