This sweet little perfume bottle is a vintage I. W. Rice import. The ridged, square glass bowl that holds the cologne is made of an opaque glass, somewhat on the lines of clambroth or blue milk glass. It has a brass colored screw on cap with a flared finial that the tube is attached to that has the original cloth covered rubber ball attached. On the bottom is the foiled paper label that reads; An Irice Import - I.Rice & Co. - Made in Japan.
It measures about 2 ½” tall and the base measures about 2 ½” square. It is in good condition with minimal wear the glass, no chips or cracks. The fabric net is still attached to the stem but the rubber ball inside it is no longer attached, in fact the rubber is hard and brittle and would undoubtedly crack and break apart if squeezed.
