This small, vintage flashlight is was made in China but probably not recently. It appears to be made of nickel plated brass for the most part. The cylindrical body has a patterned detail and along the side is a slide lever to turn it on and off. The beveled lens is housed in the cap that unscrews to replace the light bulb. The lens itself is not removable. The back cap unscrews to put in the batteries but herein lies the problem. I don't know what size batteries it takes, C-Cell is too large, AA's are too small. The cap has a logo and the words Trade Mark. It also reads; Minghwa Factory - Shinghai China - Note; this is not a typo- this is the way it is written on the cap.
It measures about 4" long and the front lens measures about 1 ½" in diameter. Most of the plating is in fairly good, original condition but there is some pitting and discoloration and there are minor dents, especially on the end cap. The glass is in tact and the inside of the battery compartment is pretty clean but there is some rust on the spring. The bulb is included. Obviously I don't know if it is in working condition since I don`t know what batteries it takes so it is being sold as-is.
