Old, Firstaid - Absorbent Cotton Dispensing Box

This vintage cardboard box of absorbent cotton is a rather neat idea. It is called a Reel-Roll Package and there is a little inset on the front that shows how to pull out the needed amount of cotton, tearing it off with the serrated metal teeth of the inner lid. It was distributed by the United Drug Co. and sold only at Rexall Drug Stores. The metal lid has a paper label that states it was a winner in the 1938 All America Package Competition. Penciled on the front is possibly an original price of 19(cents).

It measures about 4" high by 3 5/8" wide by 2 3/8" deep and is in fairly good condition with some original condition inside and light wear and soiling to the packaging.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
