This vintage troll doll is an Original Iggy Normous. These funny vinyl dolls gained popularity in the 1960's and 70's and have been in and out of fashion ever since. Its cute but ugly face with the wide nose and large glass or plastic eyes is only second to the wild tuft of long, natural mohair that covers its head. This large doll has fixed arms and legs but it does have a swivel head. The back of the head and the bottom of one foot are incised with the copyright information; Dam Things, Establishment 1964. It measures about 12" tall, give or take, and about 8" across at the ears. The vinyl is in good original condition with nice color and minimal wear. There is a little roughness on the nose and chin.
He's wearing the original clothes, a patterned cloth shirt and a pair of overalls with patches that match the shirt. The overalls have decorative buttons but all of the clothes actually have Velcro closures so they can be removed. The pant seam has the original label that reads; 1964, 65 Dam Things Est. Mfg. by Royalty Designs of Florida Inc. Hialeah, Florida. The clothes are in very good condition with minimal wear.
It also comes with its original hang tag. The front and back of the tag are the same and it reads; Original Iggy Enormous. It also has the 1964 - 1965 copyright. Inside the tag explains a little about the legend of the Good Luck Troll. The tag is in very good condition with minimal edge wear.
