Old, Teal Colored, Palmer Cologne/Perfume Bottle

This vintage glass bottle is a rich, bluish-green referred to by bottle collector's as "teal". Embossed, in script, across the front is the name "Palmer" which is a trademark of the New York perfumer Solon Palmer. The shape of this is considered a cologne bottle. The bottle is almost but not quite round and the rim at the top is slightly off set so the hole is not centered. The bottom is slightly recessed with and embossed "4" in the middle. It has side mold seams and there are bubbles in the glass. I believe this is from the late 1800's or very early 1900's.

It measures about 5 ¼" tall. The base measures about 1 7/8" by 1 ¾" and the top measures about 1" in diameter. It is nice condition minor wear and light foxing. The inside neck of the bottle has diagonal stress cracks which appear to be in the manufacturing.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
