Old Salt & Pepper Set - 1950's Stanley with Original Box

These vintage plastic, bullet-like, salt and pepper shakers were distributed by Stanley Home Products Inc. of Massachusetts. They were called Ball Point Shakers because they were similar to a ball point pen with the small ball on the top dropping when shaken to allow the spice to be dispensed. They are made of a clear and bright yellow polystyrene. On the bottom they are both marked; Ball Point Pat'd - V.A. Kasin Molded Prods. - Los Angeles. They come in their original box with a patent dating them to 1951.

They measure about 3" high and are in very good condition appearing to have never been used. The box measures about 3 1/4" by 2 1/2" by 1 3/8" and is in good condition with minor wear.
