Old, Champion, Electric Light Bulb with Original Box

This vintage light bulb is a Champion manufactured by the Consolidated Electric Lamp Co. of Danvers, Mass. under General Electric Co. incandescent lamp patents. It is a large bulb marked as a 150/115 which I assume to be 150 watt/ 115 volt. It comes in its original cardboard sleeve.

The box has good graphics that repeat on opposing sides. One panel has the light bulb lighting the city below and one panel has the C.E.L. Co. logo of a fist holding two illuminated bulbs and a panel that reads; Champion Tungsten Lamps. The top end of the box that holds the socket end of the bulb has a list of patent dates ending with November 1916. The other end has flaps that sort of hold the bulb from falling out and at the same time allow you to see the bulb specifics.

The bulb measures about 6 ½" in length and is in good condition. The element is in tact and the bulb works as shown in the photos. The box measures about 3 3/8" square by 7 ¼" tall. It is in nice condition with some edge and corner wear and some soiling.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
