This small square tin was for an old typewriter ribbon. In the middle of the gold design on the lid is the Old Town name. It has a red band that wraps around to the back where the ribbon color and type are. It has a matte, almost chalky finish. It was from the Old Town Ribbon and Carbon Company of New York.
This empty tin measures about 2 1/8" in square and is in nice condition with minimal wear, scratches and rub marks.
