Old Toy Drum Tin Bank with Fun Graphics by Fern Bisel Peat

This colorful tin is a vintage coin bank. It looks like a child's drum with cute pictures all around it. A childlike figure wearing a Mexican sombrero and serape seems to be leading the march with three colorfully decorated piggy banks in the lineup. This was designed by Fern Bisel Peat whose name is along the seam. There is also a number on the other side of the seam that reads; 16/101. The top has a 1" coin slot and the bottom has a simple closure that takes anything like a screwdriver or flat key to rotate the plug and retrieve your savings.

It measures almost 3" high and 31/16" in diameter. It is in very nice condition with good gloss and minimal wear. There are a few light scratches and minor paint wear along the rims edge.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
