This vintage, hardback edition of Dunninger's Complete Encyclopedia of Magic was published in 1967. According to the flyleaf of the dust jacket the illusions in the book "run into thousands", all fully and clearly explained and illustrated with many hundreds of specially-prepared line drawings. It was written by Joseph Dunninger who was known as The Amazing Dunninger. He preformed on stage and radio and was on television in the 1950's and 60's and was considered one of the great mentalists of all time. The 288 page Spring Book was published by The Hamlyn Group, Ltd, distributed in the U.S.A. by Bonanza Books, a division of Crown Publishers. The black linen hard cover has been preserved by the paper dust jacket.
It measures about 8 3/16" by 11 3/16" by 1 1/8" and is in very good condition with minimal wear. The pages are crisp and clean and the spine is tight. The cover is very good having been protected by the dust jacket which does show wear, creases and small tears.
