This colorful, vintage tile has a typical Dutch windmill scene and is marked on the back with a hand painted Delft Holland mark. The colors are rich and the scene is serene. The tile is embossed with Mosa Holland and the numbers 29 and 74. Hand written in ink it appears to read; Given to grandma Grow - Kent & .... ( can't make out the second name). It would be nice hung, used as a trivet, or placed on an easel.
It measures almost 6" square and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The lower left corner has a small nick. It appears there was a hanger on the back but it is no longer there.
