Old Talc Tin Sample - Euthymol Violet

This pretty little powder tin is a vintage sample of Euthymol Violet Talcum Powder from Parke Davis & Company. It is decorated with an art nouveau design of vines and violets with both the front and back being the same. This is marked Sample which many of the miniature tins are not. Along the bottom edge it has a Guarantee and a date of 1906. The initial E is on the lid which turns to shake out the talc.

It is in nice condition with minor wear. It has a slightly matte finish and isn't very glossy. The top section looks like the paint was weak as the background is a little grayed and blotchy. It measures about 2 3/16" tall and 1 1/4" wide.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
