This is a full, vintage, packet of steel needles for playing 78 records on phonographs like Victrolas. These were made by the Boye Needle Co. of Chicago, New York and San Francisco, the same company that made sewing and knitting needles. There is a patent date of Nov. 15, 1927 on the front although it is rather blurred. These are stated as being EX.LOUD Perfect Points. On the back flap of the envelope it says; Contents Approximately 80 Needles- Made in U.S.A..
The package measures about 2 3/4" by 1 3/4" and is in fairly good condition with minor creases and edge wear. It is unopened. Someone has written a number in ink at the bottom of the back.
