Old Arden, Half Pint, Milk Bottle w- Pyroglazed Advertising

This vintage, glass milk bottle was from Arden Farms, a southern California dairy. One side has the young boy milkman carrying the enormous Arden Milk bottle. The opposing side pictures n Arden milk bottle, a glass of milk and what appears to be a stack of books with an apple on top. It reads; as Important as their books! Milk before and after school. The red applied color is referred to as pyroglaze. The size; Half Pint is embossed along the lower edge and on the bottom, embossed in script is; Duraglas, a term used by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company. I believe this is from the late 1940's or early 50's.

It measures about 5 3/8" high and 2 3/8" in diameter at the bottom. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
