Mexican Pottery Burro or Donkey Figurine

This piece of pottery was probably made in Mexico, decorated in the fashion of many pieces from the Tonala area. The colorful glazes and the big eyes remind me of a piñata donkey. It has a large hand painted flower on its chest and is not signed.

It measures about 5 1/2" high and about 4" nose to tail and is in very good condition with minimal wear.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
