This round, vintage locket has a raised, art nouveau design of a stemmed flower that is enhanced with simulated diamonds that are generally referred to as paste or rhinestones. It is assumed to be either rolled gold or gold plated a combination of matte and polished textures. The back is monogrammed but I am not able to distinguish the presumably three initials. Inside, both sides have a ring and a plastic lens. One side presently holds a picture which covers the makers identifying mark which appears to be Co within a larger "C" within a shield.
It measures about 1 1/4" in diameter excluding the attached loop and is in nice condition with some wear. The front is quite nice with minimal wear but the back has a few dents which I have tried to show in the photos. The hinge and latch are tight.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
