Old Advertising Piece with Attached 1970 Calendar

This vintage advertising piece is made of very thin wood slats, perhaps bamboo. That are stitched together. There is what appears to be a colorful hand painted scene of cottages in a tranquil setting with a bridge over a stream. At the top of the piece is the advertising for the E.P. Wassler Sheet Metal company of Boise Idaho. Attached to the bottom is a paper calendar starting with January 1970. At the top of each month's page is the month's flower and birthstone. The top and bottom edge of the wood slats are reinforced with a cardboard strip and there is a ribbon at the top for hanging. On the back it reads; Made in Japan.

It measures about 18 5/16" in overall length and 9 7/8" wide. It is in very good condition with minimal wear.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
