This pretty miss is a vintage Josef Original from the International Series. She represents France and although she has the signature black eyes, she is unusual in being an unglazed bisque. The white apron over her pale pink dress is accent with gold and little blue flowers that go along with the flower-like hat she`s wearing. She has her original foiled paper country labels and on the bottom is the incised Josef Originals copyright mark and the remain of a sticker that probably read; Japan. She also has her original gold foiled hang tag that reads; France on the back. Inside is a little poem that reads; If I call you "Cheri" - You should know very well - That I'm not called a "Miss" - But a Mademoiselle".
She measures about 3 1/2" tall and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The hang tag is creased, soiled and stained.
