Just imagine, this old plaque was apparently issued in Los Angeles more than 50 years ago to the Champion Ticket Salesman for the 1955 Scout O Rama. It appears to be made of a resin or composition material with a fabric-like texture as the background, painted silver except for the raised letters and misc. other areas. The paint appears to be original but it`s hard to say for sure since I haven`t seen another. In the center, in relief is the globe with Scout O Rama written in the wake of the airplane circling the world. Also in relief it reads; Champion Ticket Salesman - 1955 - Los Angeles Area Council - Boy Scouts of America. It has two holes at the top for mounting to the wall. The back has a shiny finish.
The plaque measures about 4 7/8" by just over 5 ¾" and is in good condition with minor wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
