This old book is like a counterpart to the classic recipe book published by Better Homes and Gardens Books. It is a well rounded reference book for the home seamstress. It has hundreds of descriptive line drawings and easy to comprehend text making it very helpful. It has 360 pages including the index and hard stock index tab pages for each section. It is in the 3-ring binder style (it actually has 5 rings) with a hard cover. It has a 1961 copyright by Meredith Corp. but this the Sixth Printing of the Second Edition with a 1972 copyright.
The cover measures about 8 ½" x 10" and is in very good, barely used condition. The cover shows minor wear along the edges and the corners. The pages measure about 6 1/8" by 9 ½" and are basically crisp and clean with minimal wear. The bottom of the five binder rings is sprung and won't close.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
